My younger brothers, ages 13 and 9, do not like to travel. They would rather stay at home and play video games or football. How can I convince them to want to travel? I know they will enjoy almost any destination we could potentially travel to, for in the past, they have enjoyed vacations once we got there (the flight or drive to a destination makes them hostile). Hey, I'm a student looking to take a vacation to the Caribbean or non-Hispanophone S. America, but I don't have the funds (or the desire) to stay in a hotel. A more guesthouse/hostel operation is what I'd be looking for. Obviously, the shadier the location, the cheaper the accommodations; so, for instance, Guyana would be really cheap to find a place to stay at, but I would have a very real chance of being stabbed in a market in broad daylight.
