The Ruiz family traveled 350 miles on the first day of their vacation. The second day they traveled 525 miles. To reach their destination, they had to travel a total of 1,450 miles. How far did they still have to travel after the two days.

Here's the quick and dirty: 20-something female From West Virginia, so I'm pretty used to cold weather. Have traveled a lot within the U.S. Have traveled to London (and loved every second!) I have about a $500 budget for a 4-day trip Nov. 21-24 (not including airfare...it's a non-issue). Have a passport just sitting around collecting dust. I know some elementary French and could probably pick up a little Spanish before I leave if necessary. I can't for the life of me choose a destination! I'm interested in history, architecture, natural beauty...and probably some other things I can't think of at the moment. Warm weather would be nice, but is not a necessity. Had been thinking of Quito, Ecuador, or somewhere in the U.K. or Europe, but again, can't decide! Thanks in advance for your help!
