Both me and my fiance, my fiances parents and my parents live in different cities, so we are having the wedding in his hometown where some of my relatives also happen to live. Most of my side will have to travel around 4-5 hours to get to the wedding.(all in all, about half the guests will need to travel). This is also just after New Years - so my question is, is this really unreasonable of us to have a wedding where people need to travel AND is planned over a holiday? We are having the wedding at this time and this place because with my fiance being in the army it's the only time we can "fit in" the wedding for the last 2 years.
