If you don’t already have one, note that it can take 6-8 weeks or more these days to get a passport. While the beaches of the Bahamas are the premier tourist attraction, there are many more things to do if you travel inland.

The Bahamas is also a popular stop on many cruise ships, that spend anywhere from 1 day to 3 days in port so their cruise ship passengers can experience the Bahamas.
